If your foursome is playing a $5 Nassau bet, two players against the other two players, and you are tied after 9 holes, do you carry the front bet over to the back? If you don’t is this ruling written anywhere?

  • I’ve never carried it over. The whole point of the nassau is (in my opinion) three separate bets. If the front carried over to the back it wouldn’t be a separate bet. If you halve the front, win the back, then you win the overall; you win two bets and push on the third.

Doubt there is a “rule” on this.

  • Chip off.
  • I’ve never played carryovers on a nassau. If you’re playing Skins, then yes, halved holes would carry over.

So one “bet” is a push, and you’ve got two other five dollar bets.
