Champions League: Inter-Bremen draws 1-1.
Inter Milan was held to a 1-1 draw against Werder Bremen despite dominating most of the Champions League match on Wednesday.
Maicon gave Inter the lead with a close-range goal in the 13th after gathering a loose ball in the area. Claudio Pizarro equalized in the 62nd, tapping in a cross that caught Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar out of position.
Inter, coming off its first loss of the season Sunday, was unable to convert its dominance into goals while Bremen had trouble working its way into the area for most of the game.
